Film director Santhosh Shetty dies in Mangaluru rains [VIDEO]

Santhosh Shetty, director of Kannada film Kanasu, has become a victim of the Mangaluru rains. He died during the photo shoot of the movie under Ernal Falls.

Heavy rains are lashing Mangaluru, Udupi and the coastal belt due to the effect of Cyclone Mekunu. The crew went for a photo shoot in the dangerous weather condition. Santosh slipped and fell into the forcibly flowing falls water and died on the spot. he has acted in major roles in the movies Kanasu Kannu Theredaga, and Oriyardori Asal.
