
Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy met the members of Bangalore Political Action Committee (BPAC) on Saturday and discussed the action plan for the city.
CM Kumaraswamy said that recommendations from BPAC on waste management and plastic-free Bengaluru will be implemented in a time-bound manner.
The meeting was between the CM and BPAC president Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, vice president T V Mohandas Pai, CEO Revathy Ashok among other members.
A release said the B.PAC team shared its views on projects such as high-traffic density corridors, white topping, prohibition of plastic, vinyl posters and flexes garbage disposal.
They also spoke about the need to use modern technology to dispose of garbage.
Kumaraswamy said he and Bengaluru Development Minister G Parameshwara will call a meeting of all related urban development agencies.
