Domestic Dispute Escalates Into Physical Fight

According to a report by Dainik Bhaskar, Ankita Nagle contacted Dial-112 after a disagreement with her husband, Pawan, hoping that police would counsel the couple and calm the situation. A constable, another police personnel and the vehicle driver reached the location.

Police said an argument broke out between Pawan and the officers, which quickly turned into pushing and a physical fight. Based on the complaint filed by the constable, an FIR has been registered against Pawan for allegedly obstructing government work.

Viral Video Captures Heated Confrontation

The viral video shows a police officer hitting the man with what appears to be a stick or pipe near the Dial-112 vehicle as he tries to protect himself. The situation then turns into a scuffle, with the man appearing to hit back during the confrontation.

In another part of the clip, a police officer is seen holding the man's neck tightly from behind while the man shouts, "Kill me, kill me." Family members and women at the scene rush in to separate them. The video also appears to show the Dial-112 driver picking up a stone during the confrontation before the argument continues.

Both Sides Make Serious Allegations

Pawan also claimed he had suffered a serious head injury after a centring structure fell on him around 15 days earlier and was still undergoing treatment. He has demanded action against the officers involved or compensation for his medical expenses.

Meanwhile, police have maintained that the case was registered after the man allegedly interfered with official duty and assaulted police personnel.
