
Bengaluru: Following the coronavirus outbreak and government declaring a medical emergency, 10,000 employees of Infosys Mysuru campus will be transported back to their destination from tomorrow by KSRTC buses.
Chief Traffic Manager, KSRTC, Prabhakar Reddy said, “The Infosys Mysuru campus trains its employees and then places them across India. Now due to a medical emergency, vacation has been declared and we are transporting the employees. The buses will head to a different destination for seven days."
The buses will also head to Kempegowda International Airport to facilitate transport of employees of other states and those who live abroad.
KSRTC has over 8200 buses in its fleet. Following communication from Infosys, the KSRTC will depute buses to take employees to their respective destination.
