
Bengaluru: As Tamil Nadu is all set to witness assembly polls next year, VK Sasikala who is keen of jumping into the fray has signaled her lawyer to arrange the fine amount as she is confident of her release soon.
Sasikala and others were jailed in connection with a disproportionate case and sentenced to four-year jail and was also slapped with a fine of Rs 10 crore.
As per reports, Sasikala has dashed off a letter to her counsel Raja Senthoor Pandian asking him to keep the money ready and this apart has directed him to be in touch with her nephew and RK Nagar MLA, TTV Dhinakaran, who is now general secretary of the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK).

Sasikala has asked Pandian to consult senior lawyers in New Delhi and explore the possibilities of her filing a curative petition in the Supreme Court against her conviction. Sasikala was convicted on February 14, 2017 a report said.
Earlier, there were reports of concern over her health and said that some relatives also met her in jail, however, the convict who is also known as Chinnamma allegedly responded and said these are just rumors and reportedly warned about consequences for such news.
