The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday (December 31) raided TMC leader Vinay Mishra’s house in connection with a cattle smuggling case along the India-Bangladesh border.
According to sources, the CBI officials failed to meet Binay Mishra because he was not present in the house during the raid. However, the agency issued a look-out circular against him.
The CBI on November 5 carried out search operations at five locations in Kolkata in connection with the cattle smuggling case in which a BSF commandant has been booked and alleged kingpin Enamul Haque arrested.
