
The Bengaluru's Bishop cotton school received bomb threat on Monday which sparked panic among school administration and students. The school staff immediately called the police and informed them about the threat. The Cubbon Park police inspector Maruthi immediately rushed to the spot and within a few minutes, a bomb and dog squad also was pressed into action.
The school administration said they received the email threat on April 8 and only today, the principal checked the mail and was taken a back. Immediately, the authorities informed the cops, who are currently searching every nook and corner of the school campus.
Earlier on Friday, panic spread in over six schools across Bengaluru after an e-mail was sent to the administration.
'A powerful bomb has been planted in your school, it is not a joke, a very powerful bomb has been planted in your school, immediately call the police and sappers, hundreds of lives may suffer, including yours, do not delay, now everything is only in your hands.' the email read.

The timing of the mail raises doubts as it coincides with exams. However, the cops are not taking it lightly. Apart from bomb and dog squad, the cyber police are also tracking the e-mail from which the threat was sent.
As soon as the threat news was out in the media parents, scared parents rushed to the schools and took their children home. The senior police officers assured to solve the issue as early as possible and said people spreading panic in society will be tracked and punished.
