Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal Wedding Live Updates: The couple is officially married; see photo

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have finally and officially become Mr and Mrs as their wedding has been solemnized. The pictures of the couple from their wedding, holding each other’s hands have gone viral on social media. Katrina Kaif wore a red Sabyasachi lehenga for the wedding while Vicky was seen in an ivory-cream sherwani. Katrina Kaif, like a traditional Punjabi Dulhan, wore kaleeras in her hands and a gajra of white flowers accessories her hai. In one the of pictures, the two are seen standing together while fireworks are bursting around them.

Latest reports suggest that bride Katrina Kaif arrived at the mandap, the place where wedding rituals will take place in a pink lehenga created by ace designer Sabyasachi. The bride and groom were brought to the beautifully decorated glass mandap located in the sheesh mahal area of the fort.

Katrina Kaif is all set to tie the knot with actor Vicky Kaushal today, i.e., December 09 at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's wedding is finally taking place. The pair will be getting married at Six Senses Fort Barwara. A source close to  ETimes has informed that Vicky's Sehra Bandi ritual has started. In this ceremony a sehra is added to the groom's paghadi by his sister or sister-in-law. After this ritual Vicky will be proceeding to the wedding mandap.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, Katrina Kaif decided to wear a pink coloured lehenga for her sangeet ceremony. It was a Falguni and Shane Peacock design. Vicky Kaushal had worn a sherwani that had roses over it. The couple looked stunning in their outfits and guests could not take their eyes from them. It is also being reported that the couple will be taking pheras today.

Daniel Bauer is the favourite make-up artist of many Bollywood celebrities. The make-up artist has dolled up several actresses of the industry including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareen Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone. Reportedly, he will be doing the bridal make-up for Katrina Kaif today for her D-day. Daniel Bauer was snapped at the Mumbai airport. He is also said to be a close friend of Katrina Kaif and has previously did her make-up for several shoots.

Katrina and Vicky's Haldi ceremony will start within a few minutes with only 20-25 guests in attendance. After finishing the haldi ceremony, the guests will have a lavish lunch and get ready for the wedding. Ahead of their wedding today, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s individual Wikipedia pages were updated calling them each other’s spouse. 

At the Sangeet Ceremony Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif danced at all traditional Punjabi songs sung by singer Gurdas Maan, a close friend of Vicky's father, Sham Kaushal. Friends and families of both sides performed at the sangeet. Vicky and Katrina also performed at the romantic number, Teri Ore, from Singh Is King. Vina Kaushal, Vicky's mother had arranged a traditional Lady Sangeet.
 

This is not the first time a woman celeb has married a man who is younger than her. In this case, according to reports, Katrina Kaif is 38 and Vicky Kaushal, 33. The couple’s five-year age gap definitely didn’t come in the way of their love and now wedding. However, many social media users have douth about the actress' age.

Alia Bhatt was invited to the wedding by both Vicky and Katrina, but she skipped the Shaadi. But the real reason for her missing the shaadi is now revealed. Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif wedding's guests will be served Rajasthani, Gujarati delicacies prepared by a local sweet shop in Sawai Madhopur. It is reported that around 10 types of sweets weighing 80 kg were sent to the resort by Janta Jodhpur Sweet Home, which is located in Sawai Madhopur. According to the latest report, a blue-and-white five-tier Tiffany wedding cake curated by a chef from Italy is also there in the menu. Katrina and Vicky put the food menu together personally, keeping their guests in mind from India and London.

Katrina Kaif's friend from Bollywood Neha Dhupia and her husband Angad Bedi are one of the guests at the grand wedding. Both were spotted at the Jaipur airport two days back. On Tuesday, Neha took to her Instagram and shared a photo dump with Angad where we can see them hugging each other at a party. Many fans said that it was from Katrina's cocktail party. A few moments back, Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia who is attending Katrina Kaif's wedding took to her Instagram handle and shared a touching photo with her fans and followers. Neha is seen holding her newborn son and feeding him in the picture. In the picture Neha's daughter Mehr is also seen her caption read, “Distance makes the heart (red heart emoji) go weaker”. Sweet, isn’t it?
 

We learned that Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's ‘7 pheras’ will be between 3:30 pm to 3:45 pm. The couple will tie the knot in a beautiful special glass mandap which is made facing a temple nearby. The duo's close friends from the industry, including Kabir Khan, Mini Mathur, Sharvari Wagh, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, and Radhika Madan, had already at the venue.
