The state of Karnataka lost a renowned film actor Puneeth Rajkumar due to cardiac arrest. As a result, some of the top Indian cricketers paid tribute to the Kannada superstar.

It was a sad day for the state of Karnataka. Famous and renowned film actor Puneeth Rajkumar suffered a cardiac arrest, leading to his demise on Friday. The state mourned as the Kannada superstar passed away at the age of 46. While the entire Indian entertainment industry poured in wishes, it also travelled to other genres.

Similarly, even sportspersons paid tribute to Rajkumar, which also included quite some cricketers. Many renowned Indian cricketers from the state of Karnataka paid tributes to the Kannada superstar. Rajkumar's nickname happens Appu and Powerstar. He holds Indian citizenship while he is based in Bengaluru. He was born on March 17, 1875, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
