It was a sad day for the state of Karnataka. Famous and renowned film actor Puneeth Rajkumar suffered a cardiac arrest, leading to his demise on Friday. The state mourned as the Kannada superstar passed away at the age of 46. While the entire Indian entertainment industry poured in wishes, it also travelled to other genres.

Similarly, even sportspersons paid tribute to Rajkumar, which also included quite some cricketers. Many renowned Indian cricketers from the state of Karnataka paid tributes to the Kannada superstar. About Rajkumar
Rajkumar's nickname happens Appu and Powerstar. He holds Indian citizenship while he is based in Bengaluru. He was born on March 17, 1875, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He played the lead role in 29 movies, while his standout performances happened in films like Vasantha Geetha, Eradu Nakshatragalu and Beyyada Hoovu.

He was awarded the Karnataka State Award for Best Child Artist for his exceptional performances in Chalisuva Modagalu and Yerau Nakshatragaly. He made his lead role debut in the 2002 movie Appu, which was a box-office hit. He met Ashwini Revanth through a mutual friend and fell in love with her, as he eventually tied the knot with her on December 1, 1999, while they have a couple of daughters, Daithi and Vendita.

He reportedly has a net worth of $1.5 million, making him one of the richest Indian actors. Since he was so much into movies and acting since childhood, he did not grow academically. However, he possesses a diploma degree in computer science. As he leaves the entertainment industry and the world forever, he leaves his mark and legacy as one of the Kannada film greats and legends.
