Party hopping continues in AP, now Senior Congress leader TSR to join YSRCP

Synopsis

T Subbarami Reddy along with a few senior Congress leaders may join YSRCP He may contest from Visakhapatnam for Lok Sabha A total of 15 Congress leaders plan to move to YSRCP

The advent of elections brings to the fore, the many new equations regarding alliances, with many leaders jumping parties and leaders choosing parties as a safe bet and constituencies best suited for them.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu has already taken 21 Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YCP) MLAs into his fold and is in search of more.

At the same time, Telugu Desam Party representatives are looking at the possibilities of joining YCP but none have jumped the boat as yet.But in a recent turn of events, Congress senior leaders decided to join YSRCP.

The former MLA of Vijayawada Malladi Vishnu has decided to join YSRCP and now senior Congress leader, former Central Minister and Rajya Sabha Member T. Subbarami Reddy (TSR) is getting ready to join YSRCP.

Rumour has it that TSR would contest from Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha as YSRCP candidate. YSRCP doesn’t have a strong grip in Northern AP except for a couple of leaders and none suitable for Vizag. TSR would make an ideal candidate for YSRCP in Vizag.

Word has it many more Congress leaders may join YSRCP along with TSR, but not immediately but during the course of the election. According to sources, 15 Congress leaders are willing to join YSRCP hoping to contest as MPs and MLAs.
