Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan reportedly will be meeting Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu on July 31.
The two leaders are meeting to discuss the kidney-related diseases prevalent in the Uddanam region of Srikakulam district.
In the Uddanam region, more than 4,500 people in the village died of kidney diseases in the past ten years and as per the reports, at least one person in every family is suffering from a kidney ailment.
In 2016, a team from Harvard University had conducted research and found that excessive silica in water is what is causing kidney ailment. The researchers found that the water in the area was not suitable for drinking and cultivating.
A Team of Harvard Doctors also will be meeting both Pawan Kalyan and Naidu. These experts will then be touring Uddanam to conduct the study.
Political pundits, however, see more to the meeting than a mere discussion on Uddanam. Rumour has it that TDP chief Chandrababu will be seeking support from Jana Sena for the Nandyal by-poll.
