Actor Dileep, who is lodged in jail for his alleged role in actress abduction case, broke down in tears on knowing the response to his latest release 'Ramaleela.' The film received a warm welcome and was housefull in all 191 theatres it was released.

As per reports Ramaleela director Arun Gopi and producer Tomichan Mulakupadam visited Dileep in jail on Thursday. They informed the actor about the movie got a brilliant start.

This is the first time that a Malayalam movie is released in Kerala while the lead actor is in jail. Everyone was curious about the film which has a huge resemblance to the real life of the actor. The release of the movie was postponed after Dileep got arrested on July 10.

Meanwhile, director Lal Jose got trolled after a Facebook post declaring that he stands with Dileep and Ramaleela.

Netizens were more angry towards the director for supporting the actor while the hashtag #Avanoppam (#with him) irritated others.
