42 Keralites, including suspected ISIS joinees, went missing in 5 years: Pinarayi

Forty two people linked with various organisations, including terror outfit Islamic State, are suspected to have gone missing from Kerala in last five years, revealed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. 

There is no information about these missing people, Pinarayi said in a written reply in the Assembly on Tuesday, adding that all cases connected with Islamic State were probed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). 

Pinarayi also said that the state government did not receive any confirmation report from central agencies about the death of any of these missing persons. 

The Chief Minister pointed out that since the LDF government came to power Kerala in May 2016, 281 cases connected with violence involving RSS activists have been registered. 

Pinarayi also informed the Assembly that six persons were killed in gangster attacks, while a total of 192 people were arrested in connection with attacks by thugs.
