“Most of the jokes come from people who are funny in real life too, my great teammates and friends from my Under-19 days, Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan Singh. They are probably the funniest guys who send me numerous jokes. We have a voice group and we have a lot of chats,” Yuvraj, who won the Man-of-the-series award in the World Cup 2011, said.

He also revealed that he and other of his former teammates connect on Zoom call and have “fun”. He said, “I have been in touch with Sachin (Tendulkar), Rohit (Sharma), Mohammad Kaif, Zaheer Khan and Virender Sehwag, all these guys with whom I have played in the Indian team. We get on a Zoom (videoconferencing app) call on weekends, probably have a drink and behave like we are having a party. Trying to have little fun and put smiles on our faces.”

Yesterday (April 24) was Tendulkar’s 47th birthday. However, the batting legend did not celebrate his special day. On Twitter, Yuvraj had wished him. May ur life continue to shine like ur records & may u continue to inspire billions thru ur noble deeds. Loads of love & best wishes #HappyBirthdaySachin (sic).”
