This is not the first time that Shah Rukh Khan's family member went to jail. Long back, Khan's maternal grandfather, Shah Nawaz Khan was once behind bars and tried in court.
Today, the Bombay High Court granted Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan bail in the Mumbai cruise ship drug bust case. Now, Aryan will go back home to his family after spending more than 25 days in jail.

Long long back Shah Rukh Khan's maternal grandfather, Shah Nawaz Khan, who lived in Kahuta, which is now in Pakistan, was jailed. Yes, you read it right. During pre-Independence days, The British colonial rulers jailed Shah Nawaz Khan for revolting against the British Indian troops. Shah Nawaz Khan changed from a soldier in the British Indian army to a revolutionary for India's freedom struggle. Also Read: What? According to Bollywoodlife.com, Shah Nawaz Khan was later arrested by the Japanese army after the collapse of Singapore in 1942 during World War II. As a prisoner of War, he got influenced by Netaji Subhas Chandra and rebelled against the British. He also joined Netaji's INA.
After World War 2 and the fall of the Axis Powers by Allied Forces, Shah Nawaz Khan was brought to India, with other INA people who were held as prisoners. He was then tried under a British court, albeit on Indian soil. Hence, Aryan Khan was not the first member of SRK's family to face jail and court.
