Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, currently living in London with her husband Anand Ahuja is getting trolled for her definition of "freedom".

In a recent interview with fashion magazine Vogue, she said that she enjoys her freedom in London. Explaining it further, she said, "I like the freedom here. I make my own food, clean my own space, shop for my own groceries."

This statement didn't go down well with many social media users, who are now trolling her and calling her dumb.

People believe that she could have done household chores in India and that no one had forced her not to do it.

This statement got her criticism as netizens called her 'dumbo' for words.  One user wrote, “She has proved it time and again that she is a dumbo, is it? Do maids and housekeeping staff enter forcefully in her houses? #FreedomOfSpeech है कोई भी कुछ भी बोल सकता है विभीषण ‘s of Bollywood.”

"She has proved it time and again that she is a dumbo, is it? Do maids and housekeeping staff enter forcefully in her house?", wrote a troll.

"India has no FREEDOM. Maid's, Cooks enters home forcefully and don't let you do anything. #ThursdayThoughts #SonamKapoor," wrote another.

"Starting a petition to book all the house helps and maids who forcefully enter our homes and rob us of the freedom to do our own work. #FreedomToDoHouseChores #SonamKapoor," read another tweet.

"Sonam gave takkar to Alia in Dumbest dialogue contest".

Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in a crime thriller titled Blind, which Shome Makhija directs. The film also stars Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli, and Lillete Dubey.
