The digital creator Dylan Stevens, who has an Instagram page ‘therealangrygrandma’ with over 790,000 followers, inserted her grandmother’s face from the existing videos in his archives to seamlessly map onto the rugged characters on screen.

Stevens then quietly put the AI-edited version of one of the iconic scenes of Clint Eastwood’s classic Western film on his grandmother’s television without revealing the prank, allowing her to watch the scene unfold naturally. As the movie progressed, the 82-year-old grandmother first recognised Clint Eastwood but soon noticed that something was unusual about the scene.

She then realised that her face had been digitally inserted into the movie, leaving her completely stunned. The grandmother was struggling to understand how he had ended up on the screen before blurting out,

“That’s Clint Eastwood… What the f***? That’s me. Oh, son of a bi****. Motherf******, what was that sh**? That’s my f****** favourite movie,”
