According to the fake news, it was known that Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury will be replaced by Ludhiana MP Ravneet Bittu, who is already the party's whip. For now, Ravneet Bittu will lead the party in the Lok Sabha for the rest of the budget session.

Meanwhile, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has rubbished claims that he has been removed from the post of Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha. He said, “This a completely fake news. I have not been removed from the post of Congress leader in Lok Sabha. Please don’t believe this kind of fake news.”
Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury is also the president of the West Bengal Congress. According to sources, some senior leaders of the party are demanding his removal from this post.
The Congress had formed an alliance with the Left and Indian Secular Front in Bengal to fight in the upcoming assembly polls.
