The hanging body of a BJP worker was recovered in Shalbani before the first round of voting in West Bengal. The name of the deceased is Lal Mohan Soren. The BJP claimed that Lal Mohan Soren was killed and hung from a jamun tree allegedly by miscreants of the Trinamool Congress.
The hanging body of a BJP worker was recovered in Shalbani before the first round of voting in West Bengal. The name of the deceased is Lal Mohan Soren. The BJP claimed the deceased as their supporter. His body was found in a forest near his home in Bagmari in the Salboni police station area.
The BJP claimed that Lal Mohan Soren was killed and hung from a jamun tree allegedly by miscreants of the Trinamool Congress. However, the TMC has rubbished all the allegations.

According to police sources, the body has been sent for post-mortem after which the cause of the death can be confirmed.
BJP's former district president Shamit Das said, "TMC killed Ananta and hung his body from the tree to disturb peace in the area and intimidate voters and our party’s workers ahead of the elections."
TMC president of Midnapore city, Biswanath Pandab said, “We don’t know anything about this incident. The BJP always try to blame our party no matter what happened. Trinamool Congress is not related to any such incident.”
