Thousands of pro-monarchists rallied in Kathmandu on March 9 to welcome former King Gyanendra Shah upon his return from Pokhara. Supporters from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and other pro-monarchy groups chanted slogans against the current political system.
