Heavy rains lash Bengaluru, several trees uprooted

Bengaluru: While the heavy rains brought the much needed respite from the scorching heat in Bengaluru on Tuesday (May 7), several trees were also uprooted across the city.

As many as 16 trees were uprooted and a car was damaged in an incident. There were no casualties reported.

Water logging was also reported in some parts of the city. Also, water gushed into several apartment basements.
