Man bludgeons brother suffering with disability; murder over property caught on camera
CCTCV footage shows the shocking incident of a murder in Dharwad that occurred on May 15. A dispute related to property between two brothers led to the murder of the younger one at the hands of his sibling. The victim, Umesh Balagi, who suffered with a disability was bludgeoned to death
A property related issue between two brothers ended up in the murder of a person suffering with a disability.
The older sibling, Channabasappa Balagi, and his associates murdered the younger one, Umesh, who was out of his house on a tri-wheel scooter. Miscreants who were lying in wait, pounced on Umesh and hit his head with wooden logs and a stone.
A shocked Uma, the victim's wife, watched in horror. After killing Umesh, miscreants ran towards Uma. The scared woman ran into the house and locked the door and screamed for help.
The miscreants left after neighbours began to gather. A case has been registered at Dharwad Upanagara Police Station.
