Is your vehicle really safe in pay and park areas of Bengaluru?

The next time you think of parking your vehicle at Mysuru Road Satellite Bus Station, you may be shocked to find that if your vehicle is missing, contractors will not be held responsible.

The pay and park facility authorities here openly claim that they will not be held responsible for the loss of the helmet, damage or theft of vehicles.

Many are not so surprised about the “not responsible for helmet loss or damage” clause but the word “theft” is what has left many worried. Workers say that such clauses where printed 'simply' and they do not mean anything by it. It is also surprising to see how the KSRTC let such contractors operate in its pay and park premises as this would certainly mar its image

Does not the responsibility of monitoring contractors who charge Rs 60 for two-wheelers and Rs 100 from four wheelers per day lie with the KSRTC as it is the actual owner of the building?
