Incident of an 18-year-old girl gone missing on August 17 came to light very late. According to Sakshi news post, Shanmuka Priya, daughter of Koteswara Rao from Vijaynagar colony, Hyderabad, completed her Intermediate and joined as an Assistant to an ad film maker Kamal Setu and also acted in ad films.

She went on an assignment to Darjeeling on August 17 with the Director and her family saw her off at the Shamshabad Airport. She called her mother Usha Kumari and said that she had reached Kolkata and would return back on August 28.

But from then, her phone was switched off and the family couldn’t reach her. The parents reached out to her friends and colleagues, but no one had a clue about her whereabouts. The girl's mother complained to the police and in her complaint she suspects two people named Sanjay Krishna and Pradeep who used to frequent their house on the pretext of ad film projects.

The police are investigating the case and questioned the suspects who reportedly refuted the claim.
