The news that Telangana Rashtra Samithi's (TRS) Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukender Reddy has resigned from his Lok Sabha seat has been doing the rounds for the last two days. However, the news is fake and Gutha has expressed his anger over the speculation.
Reports also claim that he would resign as MP and take up the position of farmer coordination samithi's state chairman, which is also of cabinet ranking.
Rumours are also doing the rounds that TRS is planning to make Gutha resign, conduct a by-election and create Nandyal-like by-election history in Nalgonda. But there has been no response from Gutha regarding this news yet.
When Asianet Newsable tried to reach Gutha to confirm the news, he was unavailable for comment. But his close associates revealed that Gutha is shocked with this news and is analysing whether it’s a media creation or a political drama.
Gutha had defected Congress to join TRS after the state of Telangana was formed.
