Going by a newly published Apple patent, the next generation of the iPhone will not only be waterproof but might also have underwater photography capabilities.
The - submitted to the US Patent and Trademark Office linked to Apple - talks about editing software for 'underwater' situations, to ensure that photos don’t have “undesirable tints”.

A CNN Money report suggested that based on the trend, it should not come as a "big surprise" if Apple soon announces waterproof features to its next iPhone.
