Congress MLA denied BDA chairman post, three BBMP corporators threaten to resign
By Team Newsable | First Published Jan 7, 2019, 1:39 PM ISTBBMP corporators and Gram panchayat members threatened to resign from their post after their patron and tree-time MLA ST Somashekar was denied Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) chairmanship. 20 days ago, the Congress allegedly released a list in which ST Somashekhar's name was mentioned as a prospective head of the BDA. Sources say the MLA is upset over this development and suspects that the JD(S) is behind the denial of the post.
