A day after Kerala government informed Supreme Court that a probe by National Investigation Agency (NIA) is not needed in Hadiya case, Bindu, the mother of a woman who converted and left the country to join ISIS has submitted a petition to become a party in the case. She has appealed to the Supreme Court that a national intelligence agency should probe into the conversions in Kerala.
Bindu has requested the court to order an investigation by NIA and Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). She also alleges that the jihadi's and Islamic State has made Kerala their base. Most conversions taking place in Kerala have similar characters, and they are forceful ones, she says in the petition.
