Lake Palace Resort encroachment: NCP youth wing demands action against minister Thomas Chandy

The Nationalist Youth Congress has demanded NCP to take action against LDF minister and party leader Thomas Chandy Asianet News had exclusively revealed that Chandy's Lake Palace Resort had encroached into the Punnamada Lake

The NCP youth wing has asked for an investigation into the alleged use of taxpayers' money for the construction of a road leading to the Lake Palace Resort in Alappuzha, owned by transport minister and NCP leader Thomas Chandy.

The Nationalist Youth Congress has demanded NCP to take action against LDF minister and party leader Chandy after several NCP district committees had demanded the same earlier.

Recently, around 10 NCP district leaderships had held a secret meeting to decide on the action to be taken against Chandy. The youth wing has also joined in on the act now. The issue was discussed in the district camp held in Kozhikode.

Asianet News had exclusively revealed that the Lake Palace Resort had encroached into the Punnamada Lake. The resort encroached into a part of the lake near it, separating it with ropes tied on to buoys.
