Veteran politician and Poonjar MLA PC George has stated that Dileep was framed in the Kochi actress attack case and has accused the Kakkanad district jail superintendent of being part of a conspiracy to falsely implicate the actor.
George says he is convinced that the conspiracy charges against Dileep were fabricated. The MLA said that he would ask the CM for a CBI probe since there is a powerful lobby behind the incident.
"Dileep has been trapped by a powerful group and tomorrow (Monday) when I am in the state capital to cast my vote in the presidential polls, I will give a letter to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan seeking a CBI probe into the case," IANS quoted the legislator as saying.

Alleging foul play in the way Pulsar Suni's alleged letter to Dileep was leaked, George has also sought the suspension of the Kakkand jail superintendent.
“There is conspiracy behind the letter finding its way to the media. It is the jail superintendent, who provides the paper for prisoners to write letters. He is also responsible to read it. As per rules, a letter from the prisoner will be taken outside the jail only after the jail authorities are convinced there are no legal problems with the letter. Then how did a letter blackmailing a prominent actor escape the superintendent's notice," George asked.
More evidence of conspiracy as police find eyewitnesses of Dileep-Pulsar Suni meetings
Dileep was arrested on July 10 and was remanded to a 14-day judicial custody. The police decided to nab the actor based on 19 pieces of evidence that they were able to gather in connection with the case.
The police had earlier arrested the prime accused, Pulsar Sunil, and his accomplices a week after the incident on February 17.
