'Capable, experienced': Why Dileep chose Pulsar Suni for actress attack quotation

Synopsis

Pulsar Suni had tried to attack another Malayalam actress back in 2012, but the incident was hushed up Dileep, who was aware of this, approached Suni after he and the Kochi attack victim had a public spat Dileep had instructed Suni to assemble a "capable and experienced" team for the quotation

In another startling revelation, it has emerged that actor Dileep, accused of conspiracy in the Kochi actress attack case, gave 'quotation' to Pulsar Suni after it emerged that the latter had tried to harass another actress years ago.

Suni had tried to attack another young Malayalam actress back in 2012, according to Asianet News, but the incident was hushed up. Dileep, who was aware of this, approached Suni after he and the Kochi attack victim had a public spat during the rehearsal of an AMMA show at a prominent hotel in Kochi in 2013.

The report also states Dileep had instructed Suni to assemble a "capable and experienced" team for the quotation, which he gave directly and not over the phone. The actor had also asked Suni not to reveal his involvement to anyone else in the team.

Asianet Newsable had earlier revealed that the conspiracy to attack and harass the actress began in 2013, and was born out of personal vendetta.

Here's why the case against Dileep may not stand for long

Some unconfirmed reports claim the target of Suni's 2012 attack was an actress who was introduced by late screenwriter AK Lohithadas, though Newsable could not independently verify this claim.

Meanwhile, the Angamaly magistrate court will consider Dileep's bail plea later today. His police custody will end at 5 pm.
