Mohammed Afroz cannot thank enough his little 12-year-old boy who risked his life to save his elder sister. Mohammed Anas was sleeping with his sister Safia Taj (15) in a room when a thief struck their house in 5th sector, Yelahanka New Town. Woke up by the noise, Anas tried to raise an alarm but the thief attacked him with a rod.

He did not stop at that. He dragged Anas and locked him up in a room before fleeing with his sister. He threatened to kill his sister if he raised an alarm. But Anas, managed to come out of the room and raised an alarm without thinking about himself forcing the thief to leave his sister and flee. Shafia has suffered injuries as the miscreant pushed her to a wall in a hurry to flee. Shafia is in still in shock of what happened to her, reports The New Indian Express.

Afroz, who works in a workshop, believes that life would not have been the same if Anas had not taken that risk. He thanks god for saving his children from the jaws of death.

On the same day, the thief has struck three houses in the same locality. He bludgeoned a senior citizen who tried to catch him. The deceased is identified as Ananta Ramaiah. Shockingly, his son was working in the first floor. Since he had put on his earphones to interact with his client, he did not realise the attack on his father.

The police are verifying the CCTV images to nab the culprit.
