Techie falls from balcony on live wire, electrocuted

Synopsis

Vidyashankar (31), techie from Uttar Pradesh, was talking on mobile at the balcony after a couple of drinks at 1 pm and fell down on the live wire and was electrocuted The wires plunged and power was cut off in Yeshvanthpur Bescom disconnects power to retrieve the body

Vidyashankar (31) a senior test analyst with a software company at ITPL, hailing from Uttar Pradesh and resident of Mathikere, fell from his 3rd floor balcony on live wire and was electrocuted. Vidyashankar and his brother Vidya Deepak were having drinks at their house till late night on Thursday. At around 1 pm Deepak went to sleep. Vidyashankar was talking on mobile at the balcony. He fell down on live wire and was electrocuted. The wires plunged by his weight and the power was cut off. Neighbours heard his crying and rushed but it was too late, reports Kannada Prabha.

Bescom was informed and the power connection was disconnected to retrieve his body. A case of unnatural death has been booked at Yeshwanthpur police station.
