Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has got a new personal twitter account for himself @siddaramaiah where he hopes to have a close interaction with the people of Karnataka who love to be active on social media. His new twitter account intrdouces himself as " Proud and rooted Kanandiga, believer in equity and social justice, family man and chief minister of Karnataka".

Siddaramaiah has posted a video on why he wants to have a personal twitter account for himself.  In fact, Siddaramaiah already tweets with @CMofKarnataka on his government policies and decisions. So, it was not clear why Siddaramaiah chose to have a personal account again. However, many believe that this could be a step closer to be active on social media with elections scheduled for next year.
