State government's Jana Sanjeevini Kendra leaves Shobha fuming

Shobha alleged Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana was changed to Jana Sanjivini Kendra Jan Aushadhi Yojana was introduced to provide drugs at 80 per cent lesser rate for the poor State government has reduced it to 50 per cent, making the cost higher, she alleged 

MP Shobha Karandlaje was annoyed that the Central government scheme of Generic Medicine called Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana was changed to Jana Sanjivini Kendra and hence returned without inaugurating the centre at the district general hospital, reports Kannada Prabha.

Later speaking to newspersons, she said the Jan Aushadhi Yojana was introduced to provide drugs at 80 per cent lesser rate for the poor. But the State government had hijacked the project and called it Jana Sanjivini Kendra and selling drugs at higher price.
