"Prime Minister Narendra Modi attempted a new set of lies in the name of Sankalpa Siddhi. But they are constructed by hiding the truth about the burning problems that the country is facing. Modi introduced the concept of Swachh Bharath. He should now stop leading the country on the path of lies and unveil the true India," said AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi. He was speaking at the Congress 'Sarthaka Samavesha' at National College grounds and said Modi should free people from false, drama, jest and lies and reveal the truth, reports Kannada Prabha.
Previous year, the Prime Minister had made a long speech of 1 hour 33 minutes but this year he made a 45 minutes speech. Rahul Gandhi made fun that next year it will be 15 minutes and the next only 5 minutes because Modi has nothing to talk about as he has no revelation of truth. The Central government has not achieved anything in past 3 years and hence there is nothing to boast about, he said.
Youth are the wealth of the nation. But Modi did not mention youth at all in his speech. Employment opportunities have reached the lowest level. Only 1 lakh employment opportunities are generated. In Karnataka, Siddaramaiah government has generated 30,000 permanent employment. During his campaign speech Modi had said he would generate two crore employment opportunities. But after the election he has forgotten to even mention that, he said, reports Kannada Prabha.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah gave an open challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to come for a public debate regarding the achievements of the State government and the Central government in the past four years. He said Karnataka is giving good governance without corruption and development-based governance to all sectors of the society.
