'Beef transporters' forced to eat cow dung by Hindu vigilantes

Synopsis

A video showing Gau Rakshak Dal volunteers forcing two men to consume a concoction of cow dung, cow urine, milk, curd and ghee, has gone viral on social media.

The men, Rizwan and Mukhtiar, are suspected to be beef transporters.

The 57-second video was allegedly shot by the vigilante cow-saving group on June 10.

According to news reports, the gau rakshaks admitted to this incident.

"The volunteers were tipped off about the beef transportation. A vehicle transporting 700 kg of beef from Mewat to Delhi on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway was intercepted by the gau rakshaks," said Gurgaon Gau Rakshak Dal President Dharmendra Yadav.

He added, “We chased the car for 7 km before we caught up to them near the Badarpur border.”

According to Yadav, the two "cow smugglers" had to be taught a lesson and also "purifying" them was necessary.

The two men were arrested under cow slaughter charges and are currently in police custody in Faridabad.
