Indian woman biker Veenu Paliwal dies in road accident

Top Indian woman biker, Veenu Paliwal, died in a road accident in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh last evening. According to reports, the celebrated  woman motorcyclist died due to liver failure after her bike skid off the road in Gyaraspur area, 100 kilometres from state capital Bhopal.

Paliwal,44, was on a tour across the country on her Harley-Davidson along with fellow biker Dipesh Tanwar. The 44-year-old Jaipur resident died as her bike skid off a road near Gyaraspur. Paliwal was rushed to a primary health centre and then taken to the Vidisha district hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival, police said.

Paliwal was also planning to make a documentary on her motorbike journey across the country.

Although Veenu was wearing protective gear, the impact of her fall caused her liver to burst, leading to her death, doctors said. 

Her body was taken to Jaipur on Tuesday for her final rites.
