
Before the assembly polls, there was a political counter-attack between BJP and TMC in West Bengal.
BJP state president Dilip Ghosh mocked Srirampur MP Kalyan Banerjee and called him a ‘Trinamool joker’. Counteracting his words, Kalyan Banerjee called Dilip Ghosh a ‘Crazy bull’.

BJP state president Dilip Ghosh is touring different districts of Bengal in the wake of the Assembly polls. Wherever he goes, he attends tea party events and tries to create good public relations. However, during a tea party on Monday (December 14), Dilip Ghosh slammed Kalyan Banerjee and said, “There are two jokers in the Trinamool Congress. Kalyan Banerjee is the best joker who belongs to TMC. No one pays attention to his words, everyone laughs at him.”
Talking about Section 356, Dilip Ghosh said, “If section 356 is issued in Bengal, the chief minister will get the benefit. She will say that she has been removed. She will demand presidential rule.”

MP Kalyan Bandyopadhyay sharply criticized the comment of Dilip Ghosh. Targeting Ghosh, he said,” He is trying to prove people by his words. The TMC does not believe in violence. BJP is a group of rioters. Dilip Ghosh is a crazy bull. We will raise our voice against those who disrespect our party workers and leaders.”
