Amit Shah to hold meeting with farmers in Bengal on Dec 19

Union home minister Amit Shah will be in West Bengal on December 19 and 20. During his tour, he will hold meetings with the farmers' representatives of Medinipur at the Sports Complex in Medinipur city.

The BJP has focused to win the votes of the Matuas in the forthcoming assembly polls. It was heard that Amit Shah will be going to Bangaon on his first-day visit to Bengal. However, there are speculations that the Union Home Minister can go to Medinipur instead of Bangaon.

Amit Shah is scheduled to hold a meeting with farmers in Medinipur on December 19. Besides, he will also hold important meetings at the organizational level in Medinipur, Ghatatal, Jhargram, Tamluk and Kanthi.

Amit Shah will hold a meeting with the farmers' representatives of Medinipur at the Sports Complex in Medinipur city. Political experts think that the meeting of the Home Minister with the farmers is very important in the movement against the agricultural law across the country. He will also hold a meeting with farmers' representatives in Medinipur town.

District President Samit Das said, "Farmers of all categories including agricultural farmers, share farmers, and potato farmers will be present at the meeting." They will tell about their problem to Amit Shah.”

Amit Shah may also attend a programme organised by the Visva-Bharati University in Santiniketan.
