The CBSE Board confirmed last evening on its website that the CBSE Class 10 results 2017 will be out today, i.e, June 3, Saturday. The results will be made available on official sites, cbsc.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in. The other site which will have the results include examresults.net.
Although the timing of the results has not yet been confirmed, it is believed that the results will be declared at 10 am, given the pattern of declaring results every year. The CBSE board has also tied up with the search engine Bing where you could check results on the page itself after searching for 'CBSE'.
Here is how you can check the results:
Close to 16,67,573 students from more than 16,000 schools, affiliated to CBSE Board, have appeared for the CBSE Class 10th board exams in the year 2017. The results were delayed this year because of the Assembly Elections in a few states and also because of the board's consideration of the marks moderation policy.
The CBSE had decided to scrap the marks moderation policy for Class 10th and Class 12th, but the Delhi High Court directed it to continue the policy this year. CBSE has also started an initiative to counsel students after the results. The post-result counselling started from May 28 and is likely to continue till June 11. The sessions will be held daily between 8 am to 10 pm.
It will also be providing counselling services to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries regarding the Class 10 and Class 12 results. Last year, the overall pass percentage out of the 14,96,066 students who appeared for the class 10 exam was 96.21 percent.
