4. Nagannathaswamy Temple, Tamil Nadu
The Lord Shiva temple at Naganantha Swamy Temple, which is located Tirunageswaram, is well-known. Ketu is the ruling god. There is a legend that Lord Shiva was worshipped here by the mythical snakes Dakshan, Kaarkotakan, and Adi Shesha.
5. Nagaraja Temple, Tamil Nadu
The temple, which is in the centre of Nagercoil, is home to several statues of serpents, particularly cobras. Krishna and Nagaraja are the two primary devatas (gods) at the temple, and Ganesha, Shiva, Subrahmanya Swami, and Dwarapalaka are the upadevathas. The image of the Nagaraja idol is a five-headed snake. The Nagaraja Temple gave the town of Nagercoil its name. Although it is challenging to pinpoint the temple's exact age, a legend describes how it came to be.
