In the whole stressful situation amid Covid-19, do you feel like you are sleeping too much? Can it cause any harmful situation? Here's what a recent study pulled out information about sleeping patterns amid lockdown.
People have increased their sleeping period, and their pattern has changed because of the work pressure. But excessive sleeping can cause many problems in your body.
Corona crisis has surely changed the sleep pattern, but it has nothing to do with the lockdown. A good amount of sleep is very important, but how sleep is good for health or even people know about it is a big doubt.
According to sources, the AIIMS Department of Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine conveyed a survey on social media along with the government. And, after tallying the reports they saw, earlier 47.4 per cent of people fell asleep after 11 pm now its 85.2 per cent. On the other hand, 51.8 per cent of people used to sleep before 11 pm after the lockdown and Covid situation; the number came down to 34.6 per cent.
People are not sleeping at night properly, and in the day while working, they are falling asleep fast. This lack of sleep and huge work pressure may cause a heart attack.
