What is “Raaka”?
The film is titled 'Raaka', and the poster shows Allu Arjun with a shaved head. The makers announced it will release in 8 languages worldwide. 'Raaka' apparently means 'full moon', or 'Pournami' in Tamil. Interestingly, in medical terms, 'Raaka' also refers to a type of skin disease.

Is the title a copy?
Atlee often faces criticism for copying ideas, and this film is no different. A new controversy has erupted, claiming the title 'Raaka' itself is copied. A Hindi film with the same name was released back in 1965. Critics are saying director Atlee simply lifted the title for his Allu Arjun movie.
Reports claim Allu Arjun is charging a massive Rs 175 crore for this film. On top of that, he will also get a 15% share in the profits. If you add up the salary and profit share, his total earnings could cross Rs 300 crore, making him India's highest-paid actor.
