Mercedes-Maybach, the premium brand of the Mercedes-Benz Group, has unveiled the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV, the company's first all-electric SUV. The car is built on Mercedes-EQ's EQS SUV technology, combining cutting-edge technology with Maybach luxury.
Interiors: The inside is designed with luxurious materials and special touches to provide a comprehensive comfort experience as well as a "cocooning effect." On all three screens, front passengers get basic MBUX Hyperscreen with "zero layer" and Mercedes-Maybach-specific start-up animations, while backseat passengers get two 11.6-inch displays, MBUX High-End Rear Seat Entertainment, and MBUX Interior Assist.
The Executive chairs offer ventilation, massaging, and neck and shoulder heating, while the First-Class Rear equipment includes a floating band front centre console that leads to hardwood trim and a rear storage compartment.

Music system: The SUV provides an immersive audio experience thanks to the standard Burmester 4D Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos technology. The system features 15 speakers and enables for customised settings for each MBUX user profile. The driving sound, dubbed "Aerial Grace," responds to many settings, resulting in a participatory acoustic experience.

Fabrics used: Natural materials, high-quality Maybach Exclusive Nappa Leather, and different Maybach symbols are incorporated into the design of the attractive interior. The new EQS SUV also has vegetable-tanned leather, which is created using coffee bean shells as a tanning process, making it a sustainable and ecologically friendly material.

Exteriors: The SUV's design features special characteristics that give it a distinct personality. The front has a stunning black panel with vertical chrome-plated trim strips in a three-dimensional depth effect, while the bumper's air intake has chrome-plated, filigree slats and the Maybach lettering is merged into a chrome-plated ornamental strip.

Under the hood: The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV comes standard with 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The SUV's performance is powered by two electric motors, one on each axle. The engine produces 640 horsepower and has a max torque of 700 Nm. The all-electric SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 4.1 seconds and has a peak speed of 209 kilometres per hour. It also boasts a WLTP range of 600 kilometres, suggesting its capacity to go great distances on a single charge.

Other features: The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV has a number of lighting customization options, including adaptive rear lighting and Active Ambient Lighting with 253 programmable LEDs and 64 colours. It also has Energising Air Control Plus with a HEPA filter for superior air quality, as well as the regular Air Balance Package for a distinctive aroma. The SUV also comes standard with AIRMATIC Air Suspension and ADS+ continuously adjustable damping. There are multiple charging options available for the SUV, such as DC fast charging, which can charge up to 80 percent in just half an hour.
