Google Pixel 7 Pro: Pre-orders to begin from October 6; Watch first impressions clip

Ahead of the event, the tech giant has teased the devices that it will launch next month and now in a new promotional video, Google has confirmed that it will start accepting pre-order for the top of the line Google Pixel 7 Pro from October 6.

At the "Made by Google" event on October 6, Google will unveil the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel Watch. Google has announced that it will begin taking pre-orders for the top-tier Google Pixel 7 Pro on October 6 in a new promotional film. The tech giant previously previewed the devices it will unveil at the event. Google posted a video in which members of the Team Pixel community discuss their initial thoughts on the Google Pixel 7 Pro.

Although Google masked out the Pixel 7 Pro smartphone in the video, it had already debuted the handset during the Google I/O 2022 conference earlier this year. Several leaks and rumours have revealed the smartphone's design, even though the firm hasn't released all of its features. 

The QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display for the Google Pixel 7 Pro is anticipated to have a refresh rate of 120Hz. The flagship smartphone's internal components will include a new Tensor G2 CPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of storage. The chipset is allegedly produced in collaboration with Samsung.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro will have a triple camera configuration at the back when it comes to cameras. It is said to come pre-installed with Android 13 and include a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W wired fast charging.

Google has previously stated that the Pixel 7 Pro would be available in three colours: hazel (green), snow (white/silver), and obsidian (black). At the launch event, further information on the Google Pixel 7 will be made available.
