With Silpa Mohan Reddy switching to Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), experts are of the opinion that his brother Silpa Chakrapani Reddy might soon be planning to leave TDP as well.
Silpa Mohan Reddy defected from TDP to join YSRCP ahead of the crucial Nandyal polls. With his exist, matters have become quite uncomfortable for Silpa Chakrapani Reddy. Word has it that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and several senior TDP leaders are now accusing him of plotting a deal with the YSRCP.
What matters even worse is that Silpa Mohan told the press that he had a meeting with Chakrapani and asked him to support his candidature in the Nandyal by-poll.
He also invited Chakrapani to join YSRCP to which Chakrapani replied that he would think and decide. This direct open request for support has had the TDP leaders in a bind.
Rumours are rife that Chakrapani might announce his decision to join TDP on August 3 during the YSRCP meeting headed by Jagan Mohan Reddy that will be held in Nandyal.
