Police investigating the alleged murder attempt on the Youth Congress leader and son of former Congress Minister Mukesh Goud, suspect that Vikram Goud’s wife Shipali holds all the clues.

Vikram Goud was allegedly shot by miscreants inside his house on Friday night. Initially, it was suspected to be a case of alleged rivalry but now the police believe it to be a suicide attempt and now trying to establish the facts.

Vikram’s financial crisis and alleged drug links could have been the reason, is one theory. The police are now also looking at family dispute angle.

The police have found that the gun used in shooting at Vikram was a country-made revolver but the weapon has not been found yet. What has got the investigators rattled is the fact that the blood at the shooting scene has been wiped out.

The police also believe that both Shipali and Vikram were in the same room when the shooting took place as both the husband and wife have traces of gun powder on their hands.
