Nusret Gökçe is a world-renowned Turkish chef, butcher, and restaurateur who runs a global network of premium steakhouses. But the world knows him as 'Salt Bae,' when his cooking method and seasoned meat with salt went viral and became an online meme.
Every week, his elegant presentation and mouthwatering cuisine are shared on social media. His social media fame soared in 2017, following which he made significant commercial gains by launching restaurants in Dubai, New York, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Boston, and Dallas.
In 2017, the photograph showed the chef sprinkling salt on meat, which became a widely shared concept, propelling Turkish chef Nusret Gokce to sudden celebrity. Nusret has since established a restaurant franchise in exotic locales throughout the world. This chain's most recent addition is a new restaurant in London that will open on September 23rd, 2021. However, once an invoice from the restaurant appeared online, Twitter users called out the ostensibly sophisticated fine dining establishment. A single lunch at the restaurant cost the client 1800 pounds, or around Rs. 1.80 lakh.
