FollowA pet cat proved that it could be a genuine friend like a dog. Yes, a pet cat in Odisha's Bhubaneswar came to the rescue of its family and blocked a cobra from entering the house. The episode occurred on Tuesday evening outside a man identified as Sampad Kumar Parida.
A report suggested that a cobra slithered towards the house from the backyard. Noticing this, the cat ran to the place, and the owner followed him. Then he saw that the cat was standing in front of a four-foot-long cobra and blocking it from entering the house.
The duo was even involved in a brawl. However, the cat guarded the family for over 30 minutes until the snake rescue team reached the spot.
Finally, the cobra snake was recovered from the house and released into the natural habitat; watch the video.
